A few questions, answered.
How many credits does one image use?
The model and quality determine the cost. The current rates are listed above and shown on the generation button before you create. A new variation or regeneration uses credits again; viewing and downloading an existing image does not.
How do free daily credits work?
You receive 10 free credits each day. They refresh at 00:00 UTC, expire at the next refresh, and do not accumulate. Daily credits are separate from a paid allowance. Guest usage limits apply, and signing in does not reset credits already used that day.
What is the difference between monthly and annual plans?
Monthly plans are billed each month and provide that month’s credits. Annual plans cost 20% less than 12 monthly payments, are billed once per year, and give you the full year’s credits upfront. Annual credits remain available until the paid year ends; they do not reset each month. Unused subscription credits expire at the end of their billing period.
Do credit packs expire?
Credit packs are one-time purchases. Their credits stay available until used and are tracked separately from daily and subscription credits. They can be used with FG V1 without a subscription. FG V2 requires an active Pro or Ultra subscription; buying a credit pack does not unlock it.
What happens if a generation fails?
Credits charged for an unsuccessful generation are returned after the failure is confirmed. An in-progress request may still finish after you leave the page. You can check its status in your generation history.
Which plans include FG V2?
FG V2 at 1K, 2K and 4K is exclusive to active Pro and Ultra subscriptions, whether monthly or annual. Free and Starter include FG V1 at 1K. Credit packs and gift credits do not change model access. If your Pro or Ultra subscription ends, FG V2 becomes unavailable for new generations; your saved results remain available.
Does AI FontGen create an installable font?
AI FontGen creates lettering artwork that you can download as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. It does not create TTF or OTF font files. Your generated images are private, and changing the local download format does not cost extra credits.
Can I purchase a plan now?
Paid subscriptions and credit packs are coming soon. The prices on this page show our planned offers. You can use the free daily credits in the studio now, with no payment required.
